(Note, I won't review the mascara, sunscreen, mirror, treatment and the other little things in this post)
Flamboyant C-3PO says hi.
The haul!
The extras!
Review for: The brushes
Left-to-right: Powder, Bronzer, and Highlighter
Below; Top-to-Bottom: Bronzer and Powder
Below; Top-to-Bottom: Bronzer and Powder
I would have really liked the Powder brush if the top didn't feel scratchy. Maybe it needs a few washes with olive oil and it'll be softer, but it's kind of a let-down. Especially because the manufacturers - Paris Presents - are the creators of the amazingly soft Ecotools brushes. I mean, I love how floppy and easily splayed it can be it would take you 5 seconds to apply your loose powder.. but alas, the scratchiness...
The Bronzer brush is serious stuff; It is the thickest, most dense brush I have ever seen (and owned) and it is actually so soft and fun to pay with - I wouldn't recommend using bronzer with this brush unless you were totally packing the whole lot all over your face to get the Oompa Loompa effect - but it is perfect for buffing product on such as Mineral makeup, or even liquid foundation!
My first duo-fibre brush, but definitly not my first stippling brush/flat top brush, the other being my E.L.F. studio flat-top. The white hairs are quite soft, but this isn't the stiffest, or densest brush, my E.L.F. studio flat-top is a lot stiffer and more dense (and wider, too), so for me it's easier to quickly apply foundation all over my face. I'll use the Highlighter brush for blushes (which is great)
(Sorry, no more pictures taken of the Highlighter brush)
Review for: Hard Candy Extras
I've always wanted to try Hard Candy stuff, although I I wasn't entirely fond of these.. Glitter Mascara, and two jumbo glitter sticks for eyes (I think) in Sweet as Pie (silver) and Peace (gold)
As you can see, these glitter sticks don't actually have any coloured bases - I think it's just glue...
I layered it over a dark navy eyeshadow to see the difference, and it does look better, but I am still not sold on the glitter, I'd be too afraid of it falling into my eye.
No comment on the glitter mascara - I don't want to try it, though I can tell you that the brush is a typical spiral.
Review for the: Lippies
Left-to-Right: I received Burt's Bees lip shimmer in Radiance and Guava. Revlon Colorburst in 005 Mauve, 040 Soft Rose, and 075 Peach, and Revlon Super Lustrous gloss in Lilac Pastelle
The Burt's Bees lip shimmers are actually quite.. frosty, unfortunately.. it's not good on it's own though, layered on top of lipstick makes it look a heck lot better (and less frosty/shimmer)
Radiance is clear, it's just the frosty snowman goodness, and Guava is very light pinky-mauve.
005 Mauve - A rosy, pinker mauve
040 Soft Rose - Gorgeous muted rose, almost brown.
075 Peach - Actually, a little more of a persimmon than a peach.
Finally, Lilac Pastelle lipgloss, not a fan of lilac/lavender lippies on its own (hate that trend) but this is rather nice. It's a pure lilac shade.
Time for lip swatches!
Above pictures are both 005 Mauve.

Finally, review for Revlon Photoready liquid Foundation
From left-to-right;004 Nude, 003 Shell. First picture with flash, second picture without next to window.
I have a feeling that Nude may be too dark for me. Maybe it'll be better later on the day when my face is hot and flushed, or if I'm under very low light. Or in the dark where no one can see me but that would defeat the purpose of foundation.
So Nude is a bit peachy, whereas Shell is beige.
Let me tell you, that I've always considered my face
NC20, very neutral (sallow) and my body NC25 with very strong olive undertones.
This reason is largly due to the fact that I simply take more care of my face than my body from skincare such as exfoliation, sunscreen, treatments, etc.. so it's actually a bitch to match my foundation because if I match it to my neck/chest area, then it would make my face seem so yellow that it'll look plastic/fake.. though if I match to my face, then you'll be able to the dreaded 'foundation line,' and everybody will think I'm using a foundation that's too light for my skin...

Oh dear God. :(
However, here is a picture of me using 003 Shell in sunlight, it looks perfect! But Scotland isn't very popular with sunlight.. so otherwise, it looks off. :(
