Confessions of a Left-Handed Mouse, FPS/MMO player

I don't know why, but everyone seems to be so damn surprised and cocky when they hear that someone is left-handed for the mouse, they even exclaim that playing MMOs, FPS games would be near impossible and would make them basically 'handicapped.'

Well, all I can say is fuck you. There's no difference whether you're left or right-handed, just like in writing. So here's my usual FPS set-up and which buttons I use for what:

Up Arrow-Key = Move Forward
Down Arrow-Key = Move Backward
Left Arrow-Key = Strafe Left
Right Arrow-Key = Strafe Right
Insert = Reload
Delete = Use
CTRL = Jump
Shift = Crouch

Third Mouse (Click mouse wheel) = Melee

Currently Borderlands - End Key = Use Skill
Currently Borderlands - Num Pad 1 = Use Grenade
Currently Borderlands - Num Pad 0 = Sprint

Use mouse to look about/turn around, etc.

(I don't for the life of me remember how I played RF though. I think I used the keyboard keys again to move. As for the F-keys to use skills, I had to let go of my mouse and tap the f-keys. Or I just clicked on shortcuts/hotbars in the game.

The Weakness of all Women...

 Sales....

I was... caught off guard when I was viewing the Makeup boards and read a thread with the title 'UK Girls, 88% off Stila at BrandAlley.'

'Holy shit,' I thought as I used my 98wpm skills to stab the keys, typing the name of the website into the url, my heart beating excitedly and nervously (nervous for my poor bank account)
'Holy shit,' I thought again as I saw Stila lipsticks that retailed for £16... reduced to a mere £6...
It almost did not feel right adding four of the most appealing lipsticks; a sheer coral, a sheer peachy-pink, a sheer baby-pink, and a rosy-brown (I don't know why I bought this one to be honest, it's probably going to look awful on me)

I also bought smudge pot in cobalt blue - the most beautiful blue I have ever seen in my life (blues turn me on) and wept as the Stila Five Piece Glitter Eyeliner Set that retailed for £55, reduced to £7, was out-of-stock...
So in-total I spent about £28, £32.95 including delivery, which I believe is a Goddamn STEAL because if I were to buy them all at full price it would have came to £79!!

But then again I'm kind of sad because I had no self-control.

But then again.. shut up, Jess, it's Stila on an 88% sale. You don't get Stila here, nor have you ever seen a sale so high, so sexy, in the UK, on makeup, that it made you wet your panties so bad in excitement. (didn't really, but you get what I mean)

Am I happy? Yes. Yes I am...

From horrible weather, pwning with a ridiculous name, and creepy kids.

My face is actually so ridiculously dry and tight because I'm ill, I don't drink enough water, I use the hairdryer as a heater, and I think part of Scotland broke-off and made its way to the Antarctic. Or Alaska, I'd prefer Alaska...

I think I shall slather vegetable oil on my face after a spritz of water and glycerin! Don't ew at me, stfu! You can use oils as good moisturisers. Food for.. uhh.. face? (Instead of thought. You know.. I did a play on words and stuff there..)

I was playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 online/multiplayer last night - was fucking AWESOME! It was also absolutely hilarious because our dear family friend Craig has had, and has been playing the game much longer than we have had it.. and I was like #2 in team rankings and he was like last lol. I don't know, maybe he just sucks. :P
But anyway... I'd suck IRL as a soldier! I kept on gasping really loudly whenever I saw somebody moving in the background and tried to gun them down! But it was SO fun...  Was up 'til like 5am. . .

I really bloody want the game for myself so I could play it whenever and don't need to log-in to my brother's Steam account.. also, did you know my User nickname on Steam is amazing? It's littlesnowflake, and I remember vivdly while playing Team Fortress 2 some dude went on and said (through Team Fortress local chat/mic server thing)
"WTF?! Littlesnowflake? I'd hate to be killed by somebody called littlesnowflake how fucking embaressing would that be?!'

Very embaressing. :3 I mean, discuss, how annyoyed would you be if you were killed by someone with such a username as that?

By the way, just thought I'd mention, kids are weird and creepy, especially when they're staring at you and won't look away when you stare at them back. And for some reason that girl was also staring at my crotch.

Srsly. She looked like a younger version of Wendy from the Addams Family. Why would a kid be staring at my crotch? Were my balls bulging?

'mmmn... crotches.'

Karma

I hope Karma will be nice to me.. anytime... around now?

Been having a rubbishy start to the New Year tbh (apart from on actual New Year's Eve and New Year spending time with my beloved - great times.) but yeah.. I think Karma's been kicking my ass because of something work-related but meh.

Anyway.. so on MUA a girl caught my attention posting about SpaceNK's 50% sale - especially for Sonia Kashuk brushes! £20 brushes reduced to a mere £4... it was a steal! (Besides.. if I don't like them I can always sell or swap them..)
Though the original poster, poor girl, realised SpaceNK doesn't ship to Ireland and was gutted. :(
So I felt empathetic and sent her a message asking if she wanted me to buy brushes for her as long as I recieved payment back . . .

...Regardless, back to main story: She was quite happy. We made a deal that she'd send me half the payment while the brushes are being delivered to my address, and pay the other half when the brushes are being delivered to her address.

So I have a brush haul and I've got an excited and happy Irish girl's brush haul on the way too.

I don't know, I feel like a Good Samaritan. First good deed of the year. It does feel good though.

Ugh, I really want to go shopping now.

I am that helpful neighbour. :D

Fuschia

Yeah, yeah, yeah. You all realise that I'm totally wanting an awesome fuschia lipstick, right?

What brought on this lemon? (Yes.. I'm calling stuff I want lemons now.. )

THIS BABY;

C'mon.. you must admit -regardless whether or not you like makeup that those lips and its colours are pretty damn gorgeous. Orgasmic I would say. Actually, I think Orgasm would be an awesome name for that lipstick (C'mon, NARS has a blush called 'Deepthroat' AND 'Orgasm' AND 'Super Orgasm' stfu)

So yeah, I've been looking at really bright hot pink/fuschia lipsticks, actually, would you like to see my lipstick colour lemons? Here's a list for you;
  • MAC Show Orchid - Amplified Creme
  • MAC Girl About Town - Amplified Creme
  • MAC Lickable - Cremesheen
  • MAC Angel (or Cremme de la Femme) - Frost
  • MAC Lustering - Glaze
  • MAC Sweetie - Glaze
  • MAC Plumful - Glaze
Swatches of the colour can be found here at; Karlasugar's MAC lipstick swatch

OK, admittedly there's like three other colours I didn't list there but I didn't want to list it anymore :( I mean MAC's lipsticks retails for about £12.50 ($20)
However in the U.S. they retail for $14. (£9!!!!!)

F U UK!!! For over-pricing everything, Goddamnit! But yes.. you can bet I'm waiting for a MAC sale (if it ever happens..) Sad panda. Maybe I can shimmy one or two for my birthday...

Oh, and just thought I'd mention.. there's something about makeup that makes me happy. I don't know why it does, it just does....

FML, and I wrote on MUA that I wouldn't buy MAC lipsticks anymore because they were overpriced and easily dupped - I am such a sucker.

Anyway, going to tidy my room now.. need to make room for my vanity - and do some damn College homwork!!!

Btw, I still am really tempted to buy this; Motorised Walking AT-AT the size of a small cat? Yes please.

FPS, my love.

It's alright for me to make several blogs a day I'm sure. Nobody really follows me but Cy and he's lurking.
(Btw.. I'm really tired atm... excuse any Grammatical errors)

I can't for the life of me remember when I started playing Call of Duty. I just remember one day my brother had CoD and CoD: United Offence expansion pack, and the latter was out in 2004, so I would say 2005 when I was 14 - pretty sure he bought them together..

Well, anyway...  I got a wee bit too into Call of Duty while I was playing it. Suffice to say, I got a little crazy.
I don't know if you do this, or if you know anyone who does this, but I had a habit of talking to myself while playing these type of games.

It first started.. many, many years ago.. quite possibly around the Golden year a game called 'Goldeneye 007' came out.

I won't brag - I was awesome at that game. But I was also batpoo crayzee. I'd scream and shout and cry out 'OMG' and while running into a room firing mai gunz at the enemy I would go 'AAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!'
Seriously, I wish I were young again, those were damn fun times! (Also, Perfect Dark)

Anyway, I continued talking to myself while playing these games and moved it onto Alien Vs Predator 1 & 2 (big note to share, I could never play as the Marines.. they were the scariest class to play. I loved playing Aliens though) and just basically every game...

I suppose I've not really grown out of it though, because usually when I'm playing FPS games I'm actually talking to people instead of screaming by myself.

For example, Left4Dead(2)!

!......:D

Gotta agree that's an awesome game - even if itakes you 4 hours to complete the last scenario - but playing it with friends/Guildies was awesome.. and excrutiatingly hilarious. I would be in stitches from laughter due to most of the stuff that happened while I was playing with my Guildies. I miss them. :(

... And while playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, I had my brother to talk to whilst whilst gunning down mai enemyz.

But yeah, the only thing I wanted to mention was that I only played Call of Duty and its expansion pack, and jumped straight to Modern Warfare 2, so as you can imagine I was pretty damn shocked at the graphical changes and everything about MW2. Yes.. I know.. a few good years had passed, but it's like.. since Call of Duty was the 'last/previous' game I had played, I remembered most things about it like the graphics, so when I started MW2 I was overwhelmed - just WOW... technology has gone so far it's amazing.

I love it.

From this..

I think Makeup is Depressing me

Fo realz.

I have two tabs opened right now with MAC's limited Edition Hello Kitty lipstick in 'Strayin;'

And MAC's lipstick 'Girl About Town;'

Both of these are colours I cannot and never will find at the normal MAC store found in Frasiers, Glasgow because Hello Kitty was a limited edition collection sold around I think 2009? So right now they're very hard-to-get and pricey (It's £14.99...) and my MAC store is TEENY so it won't be in that store.. oh, and not to mention this lipstick is £9.99 compared to RRP or £12.

So now here's the dilemma; do I buy them now or wait next month?

You may say 'they'll still be there, don't worry. Save-up and just wait,' but that's the problem! Remember, these are limited edition and could be 'while stocks last' so this may be the only time and/or last time I'll be able to purchase these! Please don't tell me about eBay - that place is riddled with fakes.

I feel so damn guilty.. I already bought £20 worth of brushes last night.. they were Sonia Kashuk brushes, £20 reduced to £5 anybody could tell that it was a bargain and if I don't like them I suppose I could always swap them? (SpaceNK Winter Sale. Up to 50% off)

But it's totally besides the point.. I feel ashamed of myself, but my heart wants these things so bad and I don't know why. Why do I like makeup so much when I used to not care in wasting my times with these girly lavishness for the majority of my life?
I guess it's because it's finally gotten to me - for the past 18 years of my life going bare-faced, un-caring whether or not I look healthy or sickly and actually many people ask why I look so pale and ask if I'm OK..

Yes, I am not a pretty sight. Pretty much your average, typical gamer with no fashion sense whatsoever, and maybe that's it! Maybe that's the reason! I've not been feeling exactly feminine you know, with my manlyishness whilst gaming (I yell at the screen, I shout, I roar, I swear.. I'll give you more details about that in other entries) and the fact that I usually wear t-shirts and jeans when I'm out.. not you know.. pretty clothes and accessories with uber done-up hair that other girls have. They obviously make an effort.

I don't. I'm lazy. I don't know what to do with my long hair other than tie it-up in a ponytail.

Makeup for the time makes me happy, satisfies me... I admire it, I love observing the colours, the undertones.. it makes me feel feminine - something about myself I've been missing in my life.
And there's nothing more a girl wants than to look physically appealing. Or pretty - I like looking pretty.

....And I still don't know whether or not I should buy those lipsticks.

[EDIT] The boyfriend spoke; I am not allowed to buy them. Oh.. at least they're pretty to look at..

I'M SO BORED

And so very disappointed!

I still have not recieved my delivery from Amazon - Ecotools Retractable Kabuki brush - £10 (mistake.. I could have gotten it elsewhere cheaper)
Bought it on the 20th, estimated time was 24th-29th December... where is my package?! :(

On eBay I bought Ecotools Mineral Brush set for like.. I don't know, £5 I think, but the seller was removed I assume for selling fake products but come on, who would sell fakes of Ecotools?! There'd be no profit in that whatsoever...

Also, I have no video games to play with! We recently got Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles but I'd prefer playing that game with my brother who - surprise, surprise - is not home!
I only like games like Call of Duty for the storyline (proper in-depth, crazy, pyscho review on that later - well for Mordern Warfare 2 at least), can't be arsed playing online against other folk, and I'm still waiting for Zavvi to deliver my Borderlands copy because they're completely out of stock. (£12.99, Borderlands, and Zavvi, go get that awesome bargain)

Actually, I'm pretty excited for Borderlands, looks like a pretty fun game and I have the in-game trailers to pysch me-up for it!

If you have Borderlands for Steam hook me up, yo! Hopefully playing with a few people, Gordon's getting it, my brother, my cousins already have it, and Dave/Eci and Greg promised to play it with me when I have the game and we have time.. you guys keep promises - RIGHT?
Steam username: nirosaki (go figure)

Oh, and I really want a fun fuschia lipstick with proper darker/purple undertones.
That's my biggest lemming.

..That, and a baby pink eyeshadow with lavender undertones.

OMG WTF

First post.

Uhmn, I have nothing to talk about right now, come back later?
